Shay is a proud graduate of the Indiana University School of Social Work, where she turned obstacles into opportunities as a non-traditional and first-generation college student. As a social worker and scholarship enthusiast, Shay is deeply committed to giving back to her community and helping families navigate the college scholarship application process.
Having been awarded over $100,000 in college scholarships and financial aid herself, Shay is also the proud mother of million-dollar scholars. In addition, she is a published author of several scholarship and financial aid resource guides.
