Biography
Shay is an Indianapolis native with a love for travel. As a first-generation college graduate and proud Upward Bound alumna, she is deeply committed to giving back to her community. Shay has a strong interest in scholarships, financial aid, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as equal access to quality educational opportunities from pre-K through college, particularly for first-generation college students and other underserved populations.
Having been awarded over $100,000 in college scholarships and financial aid herself, Shay is also the proud mother of million-dollar scholars. In addition, she is a published author of several scholarship and financial resource guides.
