Panama: Honors College Service Learning
The IU Indianapolis Honors College will offer a spring break study abroad program in March based in Bastimentos Island, Panama for Honors students. This program will connect Honors students with service learning opportunities in the island's local community center. Through service learning, students will explore the diverse aspects of Panama through direct interaction with Panamanians. Students will also participate in activities and lectures relating to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including topics of education in Panama, coral restoration, recycling, and a cacao farm tour.
