Ifeoluwa chose to attend IU Indianapolis because of its proximity to the downtown area and the many opportunities and resources available to students. Being a Bepko Scholar to Ifeoluwa means being committed to academic excellence and personal growth, giving back to her community, and leading with integrity. Ifeoluwa is passionate about expanding computer and digital literacy to places that do not have the resources for it—especially in Nigeria, her home country. During high school, Ifeoluwa volunteered at a local heritage room of the Avon Public Library to catalog and help digitalize historical documents and Avon High School Alumni Information. Additionally, she helped create a mental health initiative and curriculum in middle schools in Avon to teach students how to cope with stress and mental health issues before they get to high school. She also assumed the role as an Avon School and Community Ambassador. Ifeoluwa leads with intent as she is the eldest child in her family and is expected to set a good example for her two younger siblings.
