Major: Nursing
Hometown: LaGrange, Indiana
High School: Lakeland Jr./Sr. High School
Raeghan chose IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis) because of the unique opportunities it offers for her major in nursing, along with the many clinical opportunities offered at well-known hospitals surrounding the campus. Being a Bepko Scholar to Raeghan means being someone "who continuously strives to show their dedication and passion of serving the community and making it the best it can possibly be all while working on their personal goals to become the best version of themselves." As a Bepko Scholar, she wants to make an impact that is lasting through community service opportunities that affect people instantly and continuously. Her most meaningful opportunity was being a part of her school's Interact Club where she hosted a student versus staff basketball game to raise money for the Nicaragua Resource Network. The money they raised allowed several children in Nicaragua the opportunity to attend school. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, bake yummy treats, and hang out with her dogs. After IU Indianapolis, she hopes to eventually become a nurse practitioner with a special certification in naturopathic practices.
