INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., August 24, 2023—Haley chose IUPUI because of the location and opportunities that the school offers. At IUPUI, she is still close to home and family, but she is also able to grow in her education and can continue serving in her community. At IUPUI, she hopes to be involved in Riley Dance Marathon and would like to connect to elementary schools and work with students. In high school, Haley was a leader in her school's Riley Dance Marathon, and she was in charge of finding donations and sponsors for the event. She also volunteered regularly at Saint Matthew's where she would help students and teachers in the classroom, seeing improvement each time she worked with them. Outside of school, Haley plays softball and works at a dog-daycare. Once she graduates from IUPUI, she hopes to go to dental school and become a pediatric dentist.
