Being a Bepko Scholar to Gracie means being a member of a community of "like-minded students who prioritize not only academics but also helping their community and peers." At IU Indianapolis, she would like to help create a safe community for students to learn and prosper. One of her most meaningful accomplishments included cleaning up parks to create a safe place for children to play. She also worked with her nearby counties to help provide food and household essentials to those in need.
