INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., August 23, 2021—Emerson was drawn to IUPUI not only for the proximity to many hospitals and the diverse community, but also because IUPUI cares so much for the Indianapolis community. Being a Bepko Scholar will give Emerson the opportunity to form a deeper connection to the community. Emerson strives to make a positive impact on campus “by establishing support programs and being truly passionate about the work [she will] do to help serve the community.”
