Gwyneth chose IU Indianapolis because of its unique environment and the wide variety of clubs to be a part of. To her, being a Bepko Scholar means leading by example, engaging with the community through volunteerism, and being actively involved in both academics and extracurricular activities alongside her peers.
A social issue Gwyneth is passionate about is the growing concern surrounding Artificial Intelligence, particularly its effects on younger generations, academic development, and the difficulties it causes within the job market.
In high school, she was a member of an art honor society where she created artwork for her community and helped organize local art events. She was also an active member of the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, where she tutored students in social sciences and organized Mock Trial competitions. Gwyneth plans to continue this type of involvement at IU Indianapolis through clubs such as Mock Trial and Model United Nations.
Gwyneth also plans to volunteer with Accessible Educational Services (AES) and other organizations in Indianapolis that support people with disabilities in building independence and achieving greater inclusion.
